Summary

NOTES THE NEED FOR CORRECT PREDICTION OF BUILDING/AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM ENERGY CONSUMPTION. AIMS TO PRODUCE A GENERALLY APPLICABLE PROGRAM FOR COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE COOLING PLANT. DESCRIBES TWO SIMULATION MODELS FOR COMPRESSION REFRIGERATION INSTALLATIONS FOR AIR CONDITIONING, ONE BASED ON THE INTERNAL REFRIGERATING CIRCUIT AND THE OTHER ON THE BASIS OF THE EXTERNAL WATER TEMPERATURES. COMPARES MEASURED DATA AND THEIR SIMULATION RESULTS FOR TWO WATER CHILLERS. CONCLUDES THAT BOTH MODELS ARE SUITED FOR USE IN BUILDING/INSTALLATION SIMULATION PROGRAMS. (INT. BUILD. SERV.
