Type of article: Article
Summary
Using hypothermia, the authors were able to detect an inorganic phosphate resonance originating in isolated perfused rat heart mitochondria at 10 deg C. At this temperature their measurements indicated a mitochondrial pH of 7.78 more or less 0.06.
