Summary

NOWADAYS, GAS FROM OFFSHORE OILFIELDS IS REINJECTED OR BURNT. IN ORDER ECONOMICALLY TO RECOVER THIS GAS, A NEW ON-BOAT PLANT FOR LNG PRODUCTION WAS DEVELOPED. THE PROCESS USES COLD FROM LIQUID NITROGEN (HEAT EXCHANGE BETWEEN < HOT > NATURAL GAS AND < COLD > LIQUID NITROGEN). SPIRAL HEAT EXCHANGERS WERE STUDIED AS WELL AS HEAT EXCHANGERS WITH PLATES IN BRAZED ALUMI THESE HEAT EXCHANGERS WERE DEFINED BY TAKING INTO ACCOUNT PRODUCTION, SAFETY AND PROFITABILITY CONDITIONS.
