Summary

A METHOD IS DEVELOPED WHICH ALLOWS TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE TOTAL CONTRIBUTION OF THE PROCESSES OF BOTH USUAL AND ANDREEV LOCALIZATIONS OF RESONANCE EXCITATIONS INTO THE NONLINEAR ATTENUATION OF THE LONGITUDINAL SHORT-WAVE SOUND IN SUPERCONDUCTORS. EVERY TYPE OF NONLINEARITY IS SHOWN TO BE CHARACTERIZED BY ITS OWN NONLINEAR PARAMETER AND MAY BECOME APPARENT IN A PURE FORM IN THAT REGION OF EXTERNAL PARAMETERS, WHERE ITS THRESHOLD IS MINIMUM, AND AT SOUND AMPLITUDES, LYING NEAR THIS THRESHOLD.
