OPERATION OF INDUSTRIAL SOLAR ASSISTED HEAT PUMP SYSTEMS WITH CONVENTIONAL R12 AND R22 COMPRESSORS.

Summary

THE POSSIBLE USE OF R12 AND R22 COMPRESSORS IS STUDIED, WITH A VIEW TO THEIR UTILISATION BY SOLAR HIGH TEMPERATURE HEAT PUMPS. A THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF THE PERFORMANCES OF THESE COMPRESSORS WITH OTHER REFRIGERANTS IS GIVEN. THE SELECTION CRITERIA OF THESE FLUIDS ARE DISCUSSED. R12B1 AND R21 SEEM TO BE SUITABLE FOR OBTAINING TEMPERATURES OF ABOUT 373 K (100 DEG C).
