Summary
The procedure for determining the optimal standard pipe diameter for transport of incompressible fluids is presented. The computer program, which determines the optimal pipe diameter by chosen volume flow on the basis of minimal fluid transport costs is developed. The costs of fluid transport include the investment, operating and maintenance costs. By determination of optimal standard pipe diameter the flow-pressure laws are also considered what assures correct flow-pressure operation.
