Optimization of R134a and CO2 refrigerant circuits in vehicles using simulation tools.
Author(s) : HAGER J., ANZENBERGER T.
Summary
The work aims to show the latest improvements of the simulation tool Kuli AC mainly reference to CO2 circuits and the quality of the analysis predictions. A practical example was presented to compare the predicted simulation results (steady state) with measured test bench data. For the near future it is intended to couple the air conditioning module together with a vehicle model to analyze the temperature rise inside the passenger compartment considering also sun radiation. Some other improvements for the refrigerant circuit concerning heat pump operation and transient modelling are intended to be introduced soon.
