Summary
A model was developed and system simulation was carried out for an experimental air-conditioning system under various operating conditions and different charges of R22. It was shown that an optimum refrigerant charge exists, which indicates an optimum distribution of the condenser area on the single- and two-phase stages of the refrigerant.
