Summary

The work outlines research carried out on three subjects of indoor air study: experimental fluid dynamics, experimental evaluation of the micro-organisms and dust presence, and numerical fluid dynamics. The aim is to get a numerical model to predict dust and micro-organism concentration versus indoor air distribution. The model could be used to guide research in understanding the complex phenomenology of aerosol dynamics and deposition as well as to achieve design parameters ensuring the best indoor air conditions.
