Summary

The presence of magnetic impurities leads to a drastic decrease in critical temperature in the overdoped region, gaplessness, and the usual temperature dependence of H(c2). Applied pressure can raise critical temperature above the usual value at optimum doping, toward the "intrinsic" critical temperature. The cuprates as a class of compounds have an upper limit of critical temperature in the range= 160-170 K.
