Parametric optimization of LCNG fuelling station using modelling and simulation.

Number: 143

Author(s) : MICHNA M, CHRZ V., KRAL M., KRUSHEL D.

Summary

Pressure transfer of CNG from buffers of an LCNG station to a vehicle fuel tank was modelled for the purpose of optimization of design and operation of LCNG stations. Considerable impact of heat exchange between the transferred gas and metallic vessels of buffers and vehicle fuel tank was evaluated. REFPROP library was used to obtain the thermophysical properties of CNG.
