Summary
An integral and systematic model for closed-loop lake water heat pump (LWHP) system in which a submerged coils model is coupled with a water-to-air heat pump model is developed. Dynamic simulation for a closed-loop LWHP system in Changsha, a city in south China, was performed. The impacts of the coil size and the lake depth on the outlet fluid temperature of coils are analyzed through the simulation.
