Performance analysis of absorption refrigerating machine and heat pump using water + lithium chloride + lithium nitrate system.

Summary
Analyses of the COP for cooling and heating were undertaken to examine the performance characteristics of the water + lithium chloride + lithium nitrate system. The cooling and heating COP were calculated by using the enthalpies at various temperatures, pressures and absorbent concentrations. Analyses of performance characteristics for double-effect were carried out for different circulation methods of strong and weak solutions. The performance characteristics of this system are compared with others. Results of the comparison are given.
