Author(s) : GOYER N.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
The study, performed in 15 car body workshops, confirms the variable ability of ventilation systems to eliminate isocyanates. It suggest the modification of the various elements of room configuration, proposes turbulence values, optimal speed and air-flow values and reiterates recommendations relative to using paint that contain as few isocyanates as possible, as well as to proper vehicule position in relation to extraction grids, to regular filter replacement and to regular ventilation system components maintenance.
