THE POSSIBILITY OF USING BRAZED PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS DURING CONDENSATION OR EVAPORATION WITH TRADITIONAL REFRIGERANTS IS VERY IMPORTANT FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF HEAT PUMPS AND REFRIGERATING PLANTS. THERE ARE SEVERAL ADVANTAGES TO THIS NEW COMPONENT. THIS PAPER PRESENTS THE TESTS CARRIED OUT ON BRAZED PLATE EVAPORATORS AND CONDENSERS CONNECTED WITH A R142B HEAT PUMP.
