Summary

THE SINGLE-STAGE, WATER-LITHIUM BROMIDE ABSORPTION HEAT TRANSFORMER WAS DESIGNED AND INSTALLED IN ALCOHOL INDUSTRY AS ONE OF THE EFFECTIVE METHODS FOR RECOVERY OF THE CONDENSING HEAT OF ETHYL ALCOHOL. THE TYPE OF HEAT EXCHANGERS IN THE ABSORPTION HEAT TRANSFORMER IS THE SHELL-AND-TUBE TYPE WITH FALLING FILM. THE PERFORMANCE TEST FOR 2 DIFFERENT CASES WAS CARRIED OUT AND THE COP OF THE SYSTEM WAS FOUND OUT TO BE 0.3-0.4.
