Summary
To predict the steady performance of scroll water source heat pumps with different configuration and working conditions, a steady systematic model for scroll water source heat pump is established. In modelling the compressor, the effect of suction heating on mass flow and the effect of discharge heat exchange on discharge temperature as well as coupling relationship between mass flow, discharge temperature and input power are considered.
