Summary

Personalized ventilation provides clean air in the workplace. The aim of the paper is to improve substantially the quality of air inhaled by each occupant and to ensure thermal comfort. Each occupant is provided with the possibility of generating and controlling his/her microclimate. The paper summarizes and discusses the principles involved and outlines recent results achieved in terms of performance of personalized ventilation.
