POSSIBILITIES OF ECONOMIZING ENERGY IN HERMETIC REFRIGERATION COMPRESSORS FOR DOMESTIC APPLIANCES.

Author(s) : KLEINERT H. J., GUNTHER E.

Summary

THE PRESENT POSSIBILITY OF INCREASING THE ENERGETIC EFFICIENCY OF HERMETIC REFRIGERANT COMPRESSORS LIES IN DECREASING MECHANICAL LOSSES, THE SUCTION SUPERHEAT, THE CLEARANCE VOLUME AND INCREASE IN THE MOTOR EFFICIENCY. THE DECREASE IN THE SUCTION SUPERHEAT SHOULD BE CONSIDERED IN RELATION WITH TRENDS TO MINIMIZE CRANKCASE GEOMETRY RESULTING IN LESS HEAT DISCHARGE BY THE COMPRESSOR TO THE ENVIRONMENT.
