Power saving technology of a scroll compressor for a car air conditioner.

Summary
The input power of the compressor has been reduced by developing a high efficiency capacity control. The high efficiency scroll compressor has been achieved by developing a high strength scroll center profile. The designed compression volume ratio is increased by using a two-stage center profile with reduced re-compression losses. Suction pressure can be controlled to an optimal pressure by the new developed demand capacity control valve. By this demand capacity control valve, discharge air temperature can be controlled directly without reheat by heater core. Therefore, the compressor input power can be reduced very much in total.
