Summary

IN ORDER TO DEFINE THE LOCAL FLOW CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DROPS AND THEIR SIZE, THE PDA IS USED. MEASUREMENTS ARE MADE ON A DISPERSED DROP SYSTEM. INVESTIGATIONS SHOWED NOT ONLY POSSIBILITIES AND CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PDA, BUT ADVANTAGES IN THE PRACTICAL USE OF THIS CONTEMPORARY OPTIMAL METHOD. PRESENTEDPRINCIPLES OF PDA FOR DEFINING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE DISPERSED DROPS ARE THE SAME AS PRINCIPLES FOR REALIZING THE DIFFERENT PARTICLE FLOW PROPERTIES IN TWO-PHASE FLOWS.
