Summary

ACCORDING TO AN ANALYSIS OF EXPERIMENTS ON THE STORAGE AND TRANSPORT OF FRUIT AND VEGETABLES IT HAS BEEN FOUND THAT PRECOOLING BEFORE LOADING INTO REFRIGERATED VEHICLES WILL RESULT NOT ONLY IN SAVING CAPITAL INVESTMENTS AND COOLING COSTS, BUT ALSO IN INCREASING THE LOADING CAPACITY OF VEHICLES, HENCE ENSURING PRODUCT QUALITY. THE STUDY HAS SHOWN THAT PRECOOLING AT PRODUCTION CENTERS FOR FRUIT AND VEGETABLES IS JUSTIFIED.
