Type of article: Article
Summary
This article presents a numerical model for predicting the performance of capillary tubes using new alternative refrigerants to R502. The model was established in accordance with the fluid flow conservation equation written for a homogeneous azeotropic refrigerant fluid flow under saturated, subcooled and two-phase conditions. The study was limited to the azeotropic mixtures R507, R404A and the quaternary mixture (R32/R125/R134a/R143a).
