Prediction of the surface tension for refrigerants and refrigerant/oil solutions.
Number: pap. n. TP-068
Author(s) : VITALIY S., DMYTRO I., VITALY Z., et al.
Summary
In this paper the relationship between surface tension and vapor pressure of the refrigerants and refrigerant/oil solutions (ROS) has been investigated. We propose to relate the experimentally obtained data on surface properties for the ROS to effective concentration of the refrigerant in surface layer of the solution. A new method for predicting the surface tension based on data on saturated vapor pressure for pure refrigerants and ROS has been developed.
