Summary
In this study, simulations on precooling time of potato seeds were performed with two different models considering irregularity of the seed shape. The results show that both the models could predict the precooling time of potato seeds. The relative error between the value predicted by the monomer shape factor model and the lumped parameter model without the effect of seed shape and the experiment data was 5.3 and 10.5%, respectively.
