Summary
A METHOD FOR CALCULATING PRESSURE DROPS IN THE CONDENSERS AND EVAPORATORS OF HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATORS IS PRESENTED. A COMPARISON IS MADE BETWEEN THE RESULTS OF A THEORETICAL ANALYSIS AND THOSE OF PRACTICAL EXPERIMENTS AND THEACCURACY OF MATHEMATICAL FORMULAE USED IN DESIGNS WAS EVALUATED. AN ESTIMATION WAS MADE OF THE EFFECT OF PRESSURE DROP ON THE HEAT EXCHANGER SURFACE AREA.
