Summary

The paper deals with the problem of transient heat transfer through the wall constructions. A number of a possible boundary conditions for transient heat transfer for the wall are considered and presented. Some special solutions of the transient problem are shown. The notions of excitation, response and indical response are introduced. Some solutions of transient heat conduction through the wall under the influence of periodic boundary conditions are shown (e.g. Fourier and Laplace transform). Advanced solutions of the same problem using time series representation of stochastic phenomenon of outside air temperature and solar radiation using response factors function, including Z-transform approaches, are also shown. The conclusions and recommendations are also included.
