Summary

OPERATING PARAMETERS OBTAINED FROM A TWO-STAGE REFRIGERATING SYSTEM HAVE SHOWN THAT CERTAIN FUNCTIONAL ANOMALIES REDUCE THE ENERGETIC EFFICIENCY OF THE SYSTEM. BASED ON THE TOTAL ENERGY CONSUMPTION, A SIMPLIFIED ANALYSIS WAS USED TO DEFINE THE MAIN PARAMETERS, EG OPTIMAL TEMPERATURE DIFFERENCES ACROSS HEAT EXCHANGERS IN TERMS OF A COLD ROOM TEMPERATURE. A COMPARISON OF THIS SYSTEM WITH A DIRECT REFRIGERATING CIRCUIT HAS SHOWN THAT THE LATTER INSTALLATION HAS A HIGHER OUTPUT.
