SUMMARISES THE STATE OF HIGH TEMPERATURE HEAT PUMP TECHNOLOGY AND DESCRIBES THE PLANT INSTALLED IN A DAIRY PLANT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF WATER AT 273K (0 DEG C) (1,600 KWH/DAY CAPACITY) AND OF WATER AT 268K (95 DEG C) (2,900 KWH/DAY CAPACITY). THE COMBINED HEATING AND COOLING SYSTEM WITH A HEAT PUMP IS A CASCADE SYSTEM OPERATING WITH R22 271-321K (2 TO 48 DEG C), AND R114 316-373K (43 TO 100 DEG C). THE A.
