THE TREATMENT OF 2,000 ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL DISEASES USING LIQUID NITROGEN IS REPORTED. PROFOUND HYPOTHERMIA CRYOTHERAPY IS FOUND TO BE QUITE EFFECTIVE TO SOME BENIGN AND MALIGNANT LESIONS IN THE ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL REGION. THE INSTRUMENTS AND METHOD FOR CRYOTHERAPY APPLIED IN THIS STUDY ARE DESCRIBE THE INDICATION, COMPLICATION AND TREATMENT OF CRYOTHERAPY IN THE MANAGEMENT OF THESE DISEASES ARE DISCUSSED. SINCE 1976, LIQUID NITROGEN HAS BEEN USED IN THE TREATMENT OF ORAL AND MAXILLOFACIAL DISEASES, INCLUDING 1,938 CASES OF BENIGN LESIONS AND 62 CASES OF MALIGNANCY. GOOD RESULTS HAVE BEEN ACHIEVED.
