Properties and performances evaluation of HCFC22 alternatives in air conditioning.
Author(s) : MACAUDIERE S., TANGUY J. C., RADICE P. F.
Summary
Because pure HFCs are not suitable for replacing R22 (none have either non-flammability or good thermodynamic performance), mixtures have been studied and identified as potential alternatives. The objective of the study was to determine thermophysical properties and to evaluate the performance of Elf Atochem's substitutes for R22 in air conditioning.
