THE STABILITY AT 20 K OF FIVE INDUSTRIAL-TYPE PLATINUM-COBALT RESISTANCE THERMOMETERS ON THERMAL CYCLING HAS BEEN STUDIED TOGETHER WITH THEIR RESISTANCE-TEMPERATURE CHARACTERISTICS BETWEEN 1AND 27 K AND THEIR SELF-HEATING. THE STABILITY AT 20 K ON CYCLING BETWEEN ROOM TEMPERATURE AND 20 K IS OF THE ORDER OF 10 MILLIK AND ON CYCLING BETWEEN 100 AND 20 K IS A FEW MILLIK.
