Summary
In Europe, use of ground-source heat pumps is quite long-standing in Sweden and Switzerland, but heat pumps are also increasingly used in other countries such as Austria, Germany and the Netherlands. This article discusses the current situation and the threats and opportunities for increased use of ground-source heat pumps in the future.
