PSYCHROMETRIC MEASUREMENT OF HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS WITH AIR FLOWING OVER BODIES OF VARIOUS SHAPES.

Author(s) : KONDJOYAN A., DAUDIN J. D.

Summary

A METHOD BASED ON PSYCHROMETRY WAS DEVELOPED WHICH ENABLES THE AVERAGE HEAT AND MASS TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS FOR BODIES OF COMPLEX SHAPES TO BE MEASURED. RESULTS OF ELLIPTIC CYLINDERS PLACED IN A CROSS-FLOW ARE GIVEN. THE EFFECT OF DIFFERENT VARIABLES IS QUANTIFIED AND CLASSIFIED. THE EFFECT OF AIR TURBULENCE CAN BE AS IMPORTANT AS THAT OF AIR SPEED.
