Summary
The Braeburn variety is susceptible to spot disease during storage; several tests were carried out at the Centre d'Expérimentation Fruits et Légumes in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France, in order to study the factors inducing this disease, including calcium immersion and the ripening stage at harvest.
