FEW PRODUCTS SHOW THE EFFECTS OF BAD CLIMATE CONDITIONS AS SOON AND AS CLEARLY AS FLOWERS. BY MEANS OF OPTIMIZED LOGISTICS AND BY MAINTAINING A CLOSED COLD CHAIN, A DUTCH COMPANY SUCCEEDS IN DELIVERING A GOOD-QUALITY PRODUCT. THE COMPANY HAS DEVELOPED SPECIAL TROLLEYS ON WHICH FLOWERS CAN BE STORED AND TRANSPORTED IN BUCKETS OF WATER. THIS NEW PROCEDURE MEANS A SUBSTANTIAL IMPROVEMENT OF THE CLOSED COLD CHAIN, RESULTING IN QUALITY PRESERVATION AND LONGER < VASE LIFE >.
