Summary

The objective of the paper is to disseminate the activities of the project, which is relevant in the area of fruit quality. The aim of the project is to apply engineering techniques for reducing incidence of and susceptibility to damage during fruit growing, harvesting and handling; to gather information on the actual status of fruits external quality in the European markets; and to design equipment for determining fruit quality.
