Quality of Spanish mandarins following quarantine cold treatment.

Summary

In-transit quarantine cold treatment is required for export Spanish mandarins to USA. Losses in quality have been reported in exportation of citrus fruits from different countries. The purpose of the study was to determine the picking and handling conditions of Spanish mandarins to be exported with in-transit cold treatment arriving to consumers with acceptable quality.
