Summary

RADIATION WITHIN A ROOM DOES NOT HEAT THE AIR, AND PRACTICAL PANEL SIZING CAN OMIT THE AIR HEATING AND INFILTRATION LOADS, PROVIDING THERE ARE NO DRAUGHTS. GUIDELINE FIGURES ARE GIVEN FOR LOADS AND PANEL SIZES. RADIANT COOLING IS PRACTICAL, PROVIDING AIR IS DRY ENOUGH TO AVOID CONDENSATION ON PANEL SURFACES. OVERALL LOADS IN ALL CASES ARE MUCH LESS THAN WITH WARM/COOL AIR OR CONVECTION SYSTEMS. A.R.T.
