Real time upright freezer evaporator performance under frosted conditions.

Author(s) : AYNUR T. N., INAN C., KARATAS H., et al.

Summary

Frost formation on an upright freezer evaporator was investigated experimentally on real refrigerator geometry. Its effects on overall heat transfer value, airside pressure drop and airflow rate were observed with respect to time. That is, the real time evaporator performance under frosted conditions was evaluated. Airflow rate is obtained with respect to time by using fan characteristic curves.
