IN THE ARTICLE, THE AUTHOR EXAMINES THE GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF CFCS REQUIRED FOR HERMETIC COMPRESSORS, REFRIGERATORS, FREEZERS AND AIR CONDITIONERS,AS WELL AS THOSE OF USED AND RECLAIMED CFCS. THEN, HE DESCRIBES THE CHEMICAL REACTIONS WHICH ARE PRODUCED WITH CFCS IN HERMETIC COMPRESSORS, BOTH IN NORMAL OPERATING CONDITIONS AND IN THE CASE OF SERIOUS OPERATIONAL PROBLEMS. FINALLY, HEPRESENTS THE RECYCLING PROCESS.
