[In Russian. / En russe.]
Author(s) : BABAKIN B. S.
Type of article: Article, Case study
Summary
Basic thermophysical and operational properties of the refrigerant R409A designed for the retrofit of refrigeration systems using R12 are described. It is shown that using R409A instead of R12 won't involve the necessity of changing the refrigerating equipment. Cases of successful operation of refrigeration systems working on R409A after retrofit are described.
