Ctifl (French Fruit and vegetable Information Technical Center) undertook a study on refrigerating equipment installed at a later stage of the fruit and vegetable distribution network. First, the existing plants at a wholesale market like Rungis,France were analysed, and then their impact on qualitative changes in the products was studied.
