Summary

Lyons has a district cooling network with a total capacity of 36 megawatts, which feeds 25 substations and is spread out over 10 km. Units supply chilled water at 5 deg C. The plant was constructed to cope with the increased demand and was designed to store 30 megawatthour. It cost 9 million francs and took 6 months to build.
