Refrigeration supply of gas mixtures separation processes.

Number: 0063

Author(s) : SYMONENKO I., HRUDKA B., MATVIEIEV E.

Summary

Cooling methods used in low-temperature technologies of industrial gases production at temperatures of 30...250 K are analysed. Features of heat removal in adsorption and phase separation processes are considered. Energy-saving technical solutions and methods of cryogenic support of columns at distillation of high-boiling components are offered. Cooling schemes based on vapour-compression units, gas cryogenic machines, throttle cycles on Ne-He mixtures are presented. Examples of combining refrigeration systems with the process circuit, in which components of separable mixtures are used as a working medium, are given.
