Reintroduction of carbon dioxide into the refrigeration industry.

Summary
The paper presents the results of a theoretical study related to the development of refrigerant compressors operating with carbon dioxide (CO2) as well as their introduction into the refrigeration industry. The results of the study contain a COP-comparison of different refrigerant circuits which are equipped with one- and two-stage CO2- compressors.
