Theoretical and experimental analysis of a CO2 refrigerating cycle with two-stage throttling and suction of the flash vapour by an auxiliary compressor.

Author(s) : MINETTO S., CECCHINATO L., CORRADI M., et al.

Summary

The aim of this paper is to theoretically and experimentally investigate the benefits that can be obtained from a two-stage expansion process, with intermediate suction of the flash vapour by an auxiliary compressor. This method is considered to be simple in implementation and management and therefore easily applicable to current carbon dioxide systems.
