Research on falling-film absorption outside vertical tubes.

Author(s) : LU Z., SUN J., CAO W., et al.

Summary

The theoretical analysis and experimental research on falling-film absorption outside the vertical tubes are performed. The theoretical analysis results of heat and mass transfer are basically consistent with the experimental data. When spraying density is lower than 0.05 kg/(ms) falling film wetting efficiency on vertical tubes is better than that on horizontal tubes. The performance of heat and mass transfer outside vertical tubes is better than horizontal tubes under the same working conditions. The results can play a certain advanced role in development and optimising design of a vertical absorber.
