Summary
The authors experimentally investigated the dynamic performance of a LiBr absorption chiller under different start-up modes. The result indicates that the size of the high- and low-pressure generator and the amount of solution in the drum has a great effect on the dynamic performance in the start-up period. Discussion on the different start-up modes will be useful for controlling the chiller and reducing energy consumption.
