Research on the melting process in a coil type ice storage tank.
[In Chinese. / En chinois.]
Author(s) : QIAN H. Q., JIN A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The article establishes an ice melting model for a storage tank with ethylene glycol solution as secondary refrigerant. It analyses and solves the heat transfer process especially in the melting-through stage using the shape factor with extended definition. The results obtained are consistent with previous ones found by others using numerical calculation.
